Liked Dredd too but tbh I think the 1995 film will age better Dredd isn't bad but IMHO it's a good second-tier action film but not a top-tier action film (Die Hard, The Matrix, John Wick, classic kung fu flicks, Hard Boiled, etc), and, other than the action, it's style wears off its welcome over time leaving it pretty thin. Think its great, because, its not trying to be serious and grimdark. never being able to see the main character's face. A police officer is brought out of suspended animation in prison to pursue an old ultra-violent nemesis who is loose in a non-violent future society. With Sylvester Stallone, Wesley Snipes, Sandra Bullock, Nigel Hawthorne. Whatever gimmick factor Dredd / Mandalorian was able to eke out of that doesn't make up for.
